I contacted ieLinks in
response to an advertisement I received from them
concerning Oracle DBA training. After comparing
their syllabus to that of Oracle University, I found
that they covered the same material at a lower
cost. My schedule at the time was very tight and
they worked diligently to accommodate my request for
training.
I
have been working with Oracle for six years and
ieLinks customized their instruction to cover
relevant material without spending a lot of time on
material I did not need to review.
On
completion of 64 hours of training with ieLinks, I
was so impressed that I recommended the training for
my co-worker and the staff at our local community
college. Again, ieLinks went out of their way to
create a schedule and an instructional location that
catered to the needs of this group.
My
reputation was on the line for recommending ieLInks
to other IT professionals, some with extensive
experience in Oracle. The feedback I got from the
class participants was good. I would recommend
ieLinks to anyone who needs either Oracle
certification or just wants to do a better job as an
Oracle DBA.

I
want to take this opportunity to thank ieLinks and
their instructors for the great job they did
teaching us about Oracle 9i database, SQL, PL/SQL
and Oracle Forms as well as preparing us for the OCP
exams. They spent time with each of us individually
as well as gave us plenty of hands-on lab time. The
equipment and instructors were available, even on
non-class days.
I am
sure that all of this contributed to my landing,
first a contracting position with Boeing and then a
permanent job with the Arizona Department of
Environmental Quality.

The Oracle Application Development class offered by
IEI, and the hands on training aspect of the class
impressed me. During the eleven week course we were
given a project to develop an application system for
student tracking. The Project allowed for exposure
to SQL, SQL Plus, PL/SQL, DML, Oracle forms and
reports. I came away from the class solidifying my
Oracle knowledge. I Strongly recommend the class to
individuals striving to enter the Oracle Application
Development arena,

I attended the Information Engineering Institute for
the Oracle 8i Database Administration class from
November 2000 to January 2001. The instruction that
I received prepared me to seek a position as a DBA.
The class, taught by Mr.
Hussein, was very through. He is an excellent
instructor and is very knowledgeable. He brings to
the class, not only formal learning, but also the
benefit of his knowledge as a professional DBA. In
March 2001, based upon the instruction given me at
the school, I was able to get a well paying position
at the Arizona Department of Health Services as a
DBA. I continue to gain knowledge based on my work
experience as a result of the foundation I received
at the Information Engineering Institute. In the
near future I am planning to take the Oracle
Certification exams.
I highly recommend the
Information Engineering Institute for anyone who
wants to get “out on the right foot” in starting a
career as an Oracle professional.
